feelings about some things
ladies: if you’ve been drinking, it’s totally fine to ask someone you know/trust to walk you to your car/drive you home/etc. but, it may not be super fun to be that girl who always tries to convince people that she’s fine when she’s totally not, and it’s fine to go out and whatever, but you may not want to be the girl who brags about knowing all the bartenders because she spends every night at the same bar. be the girl who is aware of her safety and surroundings, and be the girl who can ask for help if she needs it.
dudes: let’s not be that guy who gets offended when a girl who is walking to her car tells you that she actually can’t spare a moment of her time for you. and when she says that, don’t call her a bitch. it makes you look like an asshole. she doesn’t know you, and you may make her a little nervous because she’s walking alone, and you’re a lot bigger than she is. instead of being that guy, maybe try being the guy who checks on his friend and makes sure she can get home safely. be the guy she can text when she gets home.
